Groundbreaking Rhino Impact Investment advised by Tenke Zoltani, Better Finance, issued as World’s First Wildlife Bond

After more than three years of work, from creating the theory of change to securing advisors, to structuring, identifying KPIs and finally bringing partners like Credit Suisse on board, the work of Tenke Zoltani and Better Finance under the leadership of Oliver Withers and the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) has come to fruition with the issuance of the so-called ‘rhino bond.’ The World Bank was hired to issue the bond, a landmark instrument for species conservation, natural capital, conservation and impact investing.
